Skål International España has signed a collaboration agreement with the Complutense University of Madrid with the objective of promoting joint initiatives in the field of tourism, training and research.

The signing of the agreement took place at the Rectorate of the Complutense University.

The Vice Rector for Planning, Coordination and Institutional Relations, José María Coello de Portugal, signed on behalf of the University, while the President of Skål International Spain, Juan Francisco Rivero, signed on behalf of Skål International España. 

The event was also attended by the Vice Rector for Permanent Training, Employability and Entrepreneurship, as well as Ramón Adillón, President of Skål International Madrid.

This agreement establishes a general framework of collaboration between both institutions, with the aim of developing joint activities that contribute to the advancement of the tourism sector. The Complutense University, recognised as the most important university in Spain and one of the most important in the world in 2025 according to the Center for World University Rankings, thus becomes a strategic ally for Skål International España.

The planned actions include the organisation of conferences, congresses, seminars, training programmes, technical studies, publications and research projects. In addition, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism will be able to actively participate in events and fairs organised or promoted by Skål International España, which will allow them direct contact with the professional environment of the sector.

To ensure the monitoring and development of this agreement, a joint committee will be set up comprising the two signatory vice-chancellors, together with Juan Francisco Rivero and Ramón Adillón as representatives of Skål International.
